The Mascot Memorial pays homage to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s live mascots (past & present) and provides a history of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Live Mascot Program. The memorial serves as a campus icon and point of pride for the Western community.

The Mascot Memorial prominently features a bronze bulldog statue sculpted by ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Art Professor Duke Oursler. The sculpture, which was inspired by the characteristics and features of each of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Live Mascots stands guard outside of the north entrance of the University Union Building, and is part of the Alumni Plaza.
