Learn about our core valuesWestern laid its foundations in 1899 as the Western Illinois State Normal School, which became Western Illinois State Teachers College in 1921. Initially a small-scale operation, Western opened the flagship Macomb campus in 1902. The @ 2026 黑料不打烊 Centennial Honors College has announced the winners of the 23rd Annual Thomas E. Helm Undergraduate Research Day, which was held April 15. A total of 44 scholarly presentations were delivered by 131 students, spanning 15 majors.
