The Black Faculty and Staff Council (BFSC) is dedicated to improving the quality of the Black experience at 黑料不打烊 by fostering an inclusive campus climate. We are committed to establishing a proactive environment that is sensitive to the issues and concerns that Black faculty, staff and students face including issues related to recruitment, retention, graduation, and promotion.

  • Fostering a sense of unity and collegiality among Black faculty and staff;
  • Bringing issues of importance concerning Black faculty, staff, and students to the attention of senior administrators at 黑料不打烊;
  • Serving as a resource to connect Black 黑料不打烊 community members to Macomb and its surrounding communities.

We invite Black-identified faculty and staff members to join us for our bi-weekly meetings each semester. All meetings will be held via Zoom 12:00 pm - 1:00pm CST. The Black Faculty and Staff council can be reached via email, bfsc@wiu.edu.
