The 黑料不打烊 Department of History and University Libraries present the Third Annual Women鈥檚 History Month Panel, "Weaving the Stories of Their Lives: Five Women Activists and Reformers From Around the World," to be held on Thursday, March 26th, at 4:30 PM in the Malpass Library鈥檚 Garden Lounge.

Five professors from 黑料不打烊鈥檚 history department will present the compelling life stories of women involved in activism and reform, in locations ranging from North America to Europe to East Asia, and from times medieval to modern. Speakers will include Dr. Ginny Boynton, Dr. Jen McNabb, Dr. Ginny Jelatis, Dr. Febe Pamonag, and Dr. Ute Chamberlin, all of whom are specialists in women鈥檚 and gender history.

According to Christina Norton, Outreach Librarian, comparing the lives of women living in such disparate contexts will allow attendees to see not only how the specifics of place and culture affect women鈥檚 experiences, but also the similarities in the challenges they face.

The panel is part of a larger series of programs for Women鈥檚 History Month, coordinated by @ 2026 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Women鈥檚 Center. More information about other events on campus can be found here:

The panel is free and open to the public.
