黑料不打烊 Women鈥檚 Center Celebrates Women鈥檚 History Month

MACOMB, IL - - The Women鈥檚 Center at @ 2026 黑料不打烊 is proud to present a month-long series of programs in March honoring Women鈥檚 History Month. These events are designed to educate, empower and celebrate women鈥檚 voices, achievements, and community impact through discussions, workshops, performances and collaborative gatherings.

鈥淎s Graduate Assistants at the Women鈥檚 Center, we鈥檙e proud to help create programs that bring our community together in engaging and meaningful ways,鈥 Women鈥檚 Center Graduate Assistants Elizabeth Oyeniyi and Patience Thomas said.

The Women鈥檚 鈥淗erstory鈥 Month events include:


  • HERspace - 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 2 (MCC)
    An empowering community space for connection, conversation and self-expression centered on women鈥檚 leadership on and off campus.

  • Women鈥檚 Empowerment Brunch - 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 7 (MCC)
    A celebratory brunch featuring reflection, networking and inspiration.

  • International Women鈥檚 Day Celebration - 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday, March 9 (MCC)
    A global recognition event honoring women鈥檚 achievements and solidarity across cultures. (In collaboration with: Casa Latina Cultural Center)

  • The Vagina Monologues - 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 (MCC)
    A powerful performance highlighting stories that center women鈥檚 voices and experiences.


The latter part of the month will also see the return of Take Back the Night Week. Beginning Monday, March 23, Take Back The Night will bring a powerful series of programs focused on awareness, advocacy and community support. It will unite campus and community members in a shared commitment to empowerment and survivor solidarity. More information on events will be available at a later date.
