Shiraki Named September EOM

MACOMB, IL - - @ 2026 黑料不打烊 Hardware/Software Support Associate III with University Technology John Shiraki, has been named the September 2025 Al and Elaine Goldfarb Civil Service Employee of the Month.

Since joining University Technology, Shiraki has quickly proven to be a dependable and valued member of the team. He regularly goes above and beyond his job duties, often being the first to respond to support requests outside of normal business hours. His calm, friendly approach consistently shines through鈥攅ven when assisting clients who are frustrated or under pressure.

Faculty and staff frequently provide unsolicited positive feedback, describing Shiraki as helpful, pleasant and a joy to work with. In a department where contact often comes only when something has gone wrong, these compliments are especially meaningful and speak volumes about the quality of his work.

Most recently, Shiraki volunteered to serve as facilitator of the University Technology Advisory Group committee. He stepped into the role with enthusiasm, professionalism and a willingness to serve. His initiative, positive attitude and consistent excellence make him highly deserving of recognition as Employee of the Month.

As the Civil Service Employee of the Month, Shiraki will receive a $100 stipend (before taxes), a plaque, a reserved parking space and recognition in 黑料不打烊 communications. He will also be eligible for the Civil Service Employee of the Year Award in December.

The Al and Elaine Goldfarb Civil Service Employee of the Month Award was established in 2010 through an endowment created by the Goldfarbs. The 黑料不打烊 Foundation provides a $500 stipend for the annual Employee of the Year Award.
